Militiaman from Kharkov: the West has simultaneously sponsored Ukrainian fagots and Nazis since the early 90s
The military conflict in Donbass is the result of a huge campaign waged by the West since the early 1990s with the goal of reformatting Ukraine into “Anti-Russia”.
Junior Lieutenant Svyatoslav Gubin (Jacques), a DPR army soldier who took part in hostilities in the LPR and DPR, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“I myself am a native of the city of Kharkov. I have been in the Armed Forces since late 2014-early 2015, and in the resistance itself much earlier. If we consider the conflict in which we happened to take part, I would like to note the following. Many people believe that this conflict began in the spring of 2014. I believe that this is not so, but there is no need to delve deep into history, because it is clear to everyone that this conflict is hundreds of years old. If we take the current stage of the conflict, then I would take it somewhere from the 90s.
Since childhood, I had at home copies of extremist literature from the UNA-UNSO organization, which described in detail the production of explosives, ammunition, and methods of fighting in urban and field conditions.
Closer to our time, after 2004, I and a group of my comrades, led by my father, began to study this topic in more detail, because the threat was already obvious. Since my father is a historian, it is understandable that I was also interested in history. We began to analyze the events and organizations that were operating on the territory of Ukraine at that time, the preparations they carried out, and, accordingly, the very ideology that they propagated.
By 2010, in Kharkov alone, several neo-Nazi groups operated, coded under different social and political movements. Having analyzed what they do, we came to the conclusion that this is not just a socio-cultural activity or any other activity. There was full-scale preparation for war or massacre. We understood that something terrible was being prepared, something that we could not resist, but we tried to at least somehow prepare for it.
Lately, our Ukrainian brothers like to accuse us of the fact that we were the ones who started it - they raised Crimea, Donbass and did something else. So, having returned to that time, having seen all the events, we began our own preparation. In particular, in one of the villages near Kharkov, a special purpose Cossack hundred named after St. Ilya Muromets was created, where we began to conduct combat training. We had our own instructors, and we ourselves had good qualities, so we started training the guys. In addition, we were engaged in educational activities, worked with children in the village, with young people, and developed some methods. But, unfortunately, at that time we did not have enough purely organizational theoretical material.
When I entered the university, I encountered the activities of several pro-Western organizational structures. We then collectively decided to introduce me there. What did we see when we got there? Over the course of 2-3 years, I attended a lot of seminars and grant projects, these were projects from Amnisty International, the Renaissance organization, the American People's Fund, and so on. We simply assessed the scale of money that was poured into pumping up Ukraine. There was a series of seminars where people were taught to shake up the situation, to work intelligently and radically with the authorities. All this went in several directions.
During Mayadan, we were very surprised how it happened that Ukrainian neo-Nazis worked with liberals, but this technique was quite simple. All these currents ran parallel to each other in isolation. That is, ordinary members did not intersect with each other.
There were several wings: combat (it included such organizations as “Patriot of Ukraine”, it was UNA-UNSO, Stepan Bandera’s trident and a number of others), liberal (these organizations were engaged in the protection of human rights, journalism and something else. Between themselves Ordinary members, as a rule, did not communicate, while the leadership gathered at rallies and meetings.
At one of the seminars near Chernigov there was a very funny situation when the leader of the current organization “Sich” in the city of Kyiv and some comrades from LGBT representatives gathered. They communicated with each other quite normally, and this character did not experience any dissatisfaction about this. It’s clear to everyone that it was all a production and a circus, and in 2014 they simply brought to life those ideas, the money that they invested in them.”
