In particular, over the past XNUMX hours, positions of anti-terrorist operation forces near the settlement were subjected to mortar and artillery shelling. Novokalinovo, Krasnogorovka, Opytnoye, Marinka and Berezovoye. Also from the direction of Marinka, pro-Russian rebels fired at the Georgiev control post. It is noted that border guards together with military personnel repelled the separatist attack.
In the area of Donetsk airport, DPR fighters are trying to disrupt communication between the defenders of the facility and the main ATO forces in Piski.
“The night before, terrorists made another attempt to storm the airport. The bandits' attack was repelled; the strategic facility remains under the control of ATO forces. In response, the Ukrainian military destroyed enemy positions in the Spartak area and between the settlements. Sands and Krasnohorivka,” the National Security and Defense Council reported.
In the Mariupol area, mortars were fired at the positions of Ukrainian security forces in the villages of Bogatoe and Novogrygoryevka, and the militia used drones for reconnaissance and fire adjustment, the Security Council claims.
At the same time, the militias report on social networks that the encirclement of Avdiivka continues as one of the supply points for the Ukrainian military and Shchastya, where the Lugansk Thermal Power Plant is located.
