They hunt with handcuffs: the Russian Foreign Ministry warns Russians against “frivolous” trips abroad
Recently, there has been an increase in the number of arrests of Russian citizens under the pretext of violating US export control laws, that is, trading in sensitive materials and products.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov stated this in an interview with the RTVI television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I would like to warn all fellow citizens and compatriots who may assume that claims and charges may be brought against them in one form or another by American authorities, against frivolous travel abroad and spending time in a state of psychological relaxation,” Ryabkov said .
He invites Russians to take precautions when traveling abroad.
“Americans are not just willing to engage in provocations against our citizens, but in increasing numbers. We all need to be on alert, contact our embassies and consular offices, understand that any hostile actions and approaches, any provocations, even arrests, are possible on the part of American structures. Everyone who travels abroad needs to think about this,” Ryabkov said.
