Ogryzko demands that the West “pay the bills” and come to terms with inflation
Inflation and price increases that are occurring in the West, as well as billions in economic losses, are the price to pay for the “war with Russia.”
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ohryzko, the task of Ukrainian diplomats now is to convince Western politicians that their countries are obliged to pay this price.
“Unfortunately, for 30 years Western leaders have been staring into Putin’s eyes, they wanted to see something there, they pursued an inadequate policy regarding the Russian Federation, they wanted to make Russia a democratic country, they didn’t want to see what kind of country it was, they didn’t understand where Putin leads. That is, they pursued a failed Russian policy.
But, sorry, you usually have to pay for something for failure. Now the West [is paying] by spending hundreds of billions of dollars on the war with Russia, paying the bills,” the diplomat said.
“Our diplomats, our politicians, our people’s deputies just need to conduct very clear, if you like, information work with colleagues in the West and explain that, guys, we are in the same boat if Ukraine falls, and you will contribute to this by supposedly our prices per liter of gasoline have risen by 20 cents, then you will be next.
And if we want to stop this possessed Fuhrer now, then we must pay for it,” Ogryzko said.
