Ogryzko: Putin is outplaying us again
The implementation of the Minsk agreements, which provide for a special status for Donbass, is unacceptable for Ukraine, said former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Ogryzko on the ICTV channel.

“When we talk about these special statuses, even having written them down in a very streamlined formula that is in the draft Constitution, this means that we continue to play with the enemy.
The most dangerous thing is that we recognize de jure that there is no aggression against Ukraine, but there is an internal conflict in Ukraine. Moscow, I think, will applaud very much...
Secondly, we will legalize the gangster groups that today have power in the occupied part of Donbass.
And third, no less important, we will take the path of a very rapid loss of Ukraine’s international legal personality,” Ogryzko said.
According to him, it is necessary to leave the Minsk format of negotiations and create a new one, where “the entire civilized world will be on the side of Ukraine against Russia.”
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who was present in the studio and works with the administration of Petro Poroshenko, noted that France and Germany still insist on observing Minsk.
“How would you convince Merkel and Hollande, they insist on this?” – Fesenko turned to Ogryzko.
“Each country defends, first of all, its national interests. But this does not mean that we should dance even to the tune of those who help us in this case. We have already seriously compromised our national interests. And if we go even further, we will create a precedent for many regions of Ukraine. I don’t want to talk about it, I think you understand what I mean,” Ogryzko said.
“But you want to create an alliance with them ( Western countries ),” Fesenko reminded.
