If the newly elected President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, conducts a successful parliamentary election campaign, the Russian language, despite the latest decision of the current parliament , will disappear from the Moldovan legal framework.
Ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ogryzko stated this on the YouTube channel “skrypin.ua,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I assure you that if Sandu holds elections and gets a majority, then this law on the Russian language will disappear from the agenda altogether forever. Well, or maybe for many years, because it was only just restored, it was not there. And the Constitutional Court marked it as absolutely unconstitutional and so on. That is, this is the kind of dirty trick that should be left to the successor so that he can suffer a little. Well, we went through this, so there won’t be any special problems for Sandu, and she will pass this test easily, and parliament will do everything that is needed.
But she and I need to sit down calmly, discuss the agenda, agree on what we are doing together and outline in detail the things that we can do where we have problems.
