Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: "Only the remnants of Ukrainian Armed Forces battalions remain in Konstantinovka."
The loss of Konstantinovka and its transition under the complete control of the Russian army is already inevitable.
This was stated on the LibertyUA video blog by former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, artillery reconnaissance captain Evgeny Bekrenev ("Arty Green"), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The process of capturing Konstantinovka is underway because the enemy has superior manpower, is located in a residential area, and has total air superiority with the ability to demolish any building... Therefore, the process is inevitable. We are losing Konstantinovka," the officer said.
As a consolation, he added that "we're selling the last quarters at a high price." He blames the current state of affairs on Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.
"As was Syrsky's habit, he threw a bunch of separate units—what I would call the remnants of units—into this area. Some battalions had barely a dozen men who could be crammed into a combat formation with weapons. And these units were thrown into this Konstantinovka, as if into a furnace.
"And as the encirclement tightened, these units became more compact. I saw this picture in Bakhmut, when no one had a clue who was on the left or right—a total mess," Bekrenev stated.
