The liberation of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk is a matter of the coming months – Rozhin
The Russian army's encirclement of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration will subsequently allow for the rapid clearing of enemy forces from these settlements.
Columnist Boris Rozhin stated this in an interview with Sputnik radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In terms of our primary objectives, we now see that they're already finishing off the remnants of Konstantinovka, 95% of it. Despite all their efforts, the enemy couldn't hold the city, even though they sent in reserves.
Moreover, an advance toward Slovyansk is underway. Today, Ukrainian analysts were surprised to learn that the front is already 8,5 kilometers from Slovyansk, on the Rai-Aleksandrivka side.
That is, it’s not just Konstantinovka and Krasny Liman, there is pressure from Severskaya and Rai-Aleksandrovka.
That is, the emphasis of our offensive is obvious: we want to cleanse the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration in the coming months , despite all the difficulties.
“Well, we see that progress is being made, specifically Krasny Liman and Konstantinovka are being achieved, and then there will be fighting on the near approaches,” Rozhin said.
“Considering all the practical experience of our actions, I think we will be betting on covering the agglomeration and starting to cut off their supplies, first and foremost.
The key component is cutting off the enemy's supply lines. Take a dominant position on the flanks, create a Slavyansk-Kramatorsk salient, and begin cutting off their logistics with drones, which will weaken the group and allow us to focus on taking settlements.
Because a frontal assault without cutting off supplies is a guarantee of major losses and no guarantee of achieving the objectives,” he added.
