New evidence of embezzlement of defense funds has been uncovered.
At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's Defense Committee, new facts were revealed regarding the embezzlement of Western-allocated military budgets in Ukraine.
We are talking about numerous shell companies, said deputy Fyodor Venislavsky , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We have the Kharkiv Molniya Institute with the best electromagnetic research specialists in the former USSR.
But in 23-24, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, having such a unique developer, paid several tens of millions, and then several tens of millions more, to a private entity with a request to manufacture some kind of electromagnetic device important for the army.
"This company has no capacity whatsoever . And I'm convinced that what the ministry ordered won't be manufactured anytime soon," Venislavsky said.
"We also have numerous cases where specialists who came for money, presented their ideas, received tens of millions of hryvnias, and then run around looking for someone to advise them on how to do it all," the deputy complained.
