Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: We urgently need to demand from the West an antidote to KABs
Western countries will not be able to call themselves “allies” if they simply continue to watch Russian guided bombs destroy the Ukrainian army.
Ukrainian military expert, Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Evgeniy Bekrenev, who took the pseudonym Artie Green, stated this on the video blog of journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Taking into account the fact that the enemy has weapons of such power in commercial quantities, holding fortresses [like the Avdeevsky coke plant], that is, fairly compact defense units, is very problematic, if not impossible.
We need to somehow resolve the issue with KABs, because this is a weapon for which there must be an antidote. Airplanes carrying KABs must crash on approach; they must be shot down at distances from which the KABs will not reach the front line. They have a lot of bombs, the device they make from FAB KAB is quite primitive, they can rivet them en masse, which is what they showed,” Green said.
He called for demanding this “antidote” from the West.
“And this is an absolutely fair demand for the allies to provide us with these weapons. They have it in commercial quantities, so some kind of decision must be made, because then what kind of allies are they if they allow our troops to be destroyed with impunity?
At a minimum, an F-16 with the appropriate missiles, radars of the appropriate range, because the KAB is dropped from a high altitude, so the approach will be visible in advance, and the air defense can have time to react. We have the right to demand that our allies help us solve this problem, because they have something, and we desperately need it,” said the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
