“Only pensioners, there will be no one to restore Ukraine” - Kiev banker
In the event of a hypothetical victory after the war, the only thing Ukraine can count on is a sharp influx of residents fleeing the country, but if not approached properly, this could become the main problem.
Investment banker and anti-Russian propagandist Sergei Fursa said this on air on the Ukrlife channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“After the war, we will have a key problem - depopulation, a shortage of labor, people who work and pay taxes, because we already have a preponderance of pensioners. Therefore, one of the greatest challenges that will be for our country after the war is migration to Ukraine, to organize it so that this migration takes place.
That part of the people who left for Europe are waiting for the opportunity to return to Ukraine, and in April, when it gets warmer, they will return. Some of them will remain, because people will build their own way of life, they will feel good, they will get used to it and will stay,” the economist said.
However, he added, after the war the return of Ukrainians could become a problem.
“Even before the war we had a problem - depopulation, a shortage of workers. We have had no unemployment in recent years. It was difficult for businesses to find people to work with, but if they want to work, they will find them right away. After the war, this problem will worsen.
Thus we are doomed to migration. And here the question is for the state to take everything into its own hands. Firstly, simplification of the right to work in Ukraine. Now these rights are difficult to obtain, there are many bureaucratic problems. For example, there is a salary ceiling, below which it is very difficult to hire people.
Secondly, make this migration something that we ourselves control, so as not to end up with a history of uncontrolled migration, which could lead to a number of social problems,” Fursa warned.
