About this he wrote on his page on Facebook.

“I’m just driven into a corner, forced to make my situation public. The goal is not so much that I count on help (although, of course, hope dies last), as I want it to be clear, at least from my situation, that the myth about Odessa as a tolerant city is just “zilch.” My address: Odessa, Zaporizhskaya street, 18, apartment 38. The yard is full of “separatists”, Ukrainophobes who want to drive the Ukrainian intellectual out of the world,” Muzychko complains.

“Drunk redneck... To be honest, I don’t even know exactly what to do. It’s clear that I’m being provocatively pushed into some very bad actions,” he adds.

The Odessa publication “Timer” recalls that in February 2014, historian Alexander Muzychko called for the abolition of local self-government in the south-eastern regions of Ukraine and a harsh purge with the participation of “Ukrainian-centric” forces.

“To surrender the east and south means to proclaim liberalism here, as Yushchenko did. In the south and east there should temporarily be no self-government, no democracy. A tough purge with the involvement of untainted, Ukrainian-centric personalities,” the teacher wrote on Facebook.

In addition, he complained about the too “soft” nature of the Odessa Euromaidan and compared the residents of Donbass to “concentration camp guards.”
