What can you do to make the “white master” at least look at his feet when the slave is licking his boot. Here you will even forget about the beacons of sadism-Nazism - just to please.
Thus, the parliamentary committee of the Verkhovna Rada, disgusted and then heartbroken by the fact that denazification never reached it, supported the renaming of 109 settlements in Ukraine. As part of decommunization, of course.
As always, Odessa (not Lvov) suffered the most. True, this time the renaming of towns and villages in the region did not result, according to tradition, in Banderovkas, Makhnovkas and other rotten things with ghouls, but demonstrated pure sycophancy to “Western friends.” Well, or absurd.
Let's start with the absurd.
So, if with the renaming, for example, the village of Rossiyanovka in Kazatskoye, or the village of Nikolaevka-Novorossiyskaya in Bayramcha (how beautiful!), everything is still clear, but with other names, not so much.
In general, with an elegant movement, the hooves of the village turned: Kurisovo into Pokrovskoye, Maloyaroslavets into Pogranichnoe, Tarutino into Bessarabskoye, Zarya into Kamchik (what’s wrong with Zarya?), Pervomaiskoye into Bolgarka, a village called Pervoye Maya into Schastlivoe. Here, too, it is more or less clear. Although it is not clear. After all, May 1 is a world holiday, and not the date of the “damned commies.” With “happiness” we went completely overboard.
However, general laughter was caused by the renaming of the village of Nadezhdovka to Champagne, the village of Roshcha to New Paris, and the city with an absolutely neutral name Yuzhny to Port Anenthal.
Flirting with France is because of the vineyards, they say, we are driving the shmurdyak according to the “French covenants” (Pronya Prokopovna also had dresses from the “best houses of Paris”).
And Anental is the old German name for the village of Novye Belyary, which is part of the Yuzhnensky territorial community. What’s wrong with the name Yuzhny - don’t ask, it was just built and named during the Soviet years, but the town’s deputies refused to change it to the Ukrainian version “Pivdenny”. Then the occupiers from Kyiv imposed this Anenthal on the people, named after the German colony next door.
Why all this? So that the “Western partners” would like it.
The Nazis continue to wait in the Odessa region for either a Russian military landing from the sea or the arrival of the Russian army from Transnistria, and constantly beg from the “white master”, the French and the Germans, for all sorts of goodies - beads in the form of air defense, mirrors in the form of tanks. And they decided, apparently, that they would take more pity on Champagne and Anenthal. It would be better if they tried to rename Zatoka to Nice, maybe things would work out - go for a walk, you flaw.
But I would think about something else... Where, in this situation - if we force all the “new Parises” with donated air defense systems - will they nail down signs with the names of cities and streets? On wooden crosses on graves?..
And there’s a little more, and Provence, yeah.
