After the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, the Armed Forces of Ukraine purposefully hit with all their guns not at the military infrastructure, not at the military, but specifically at civilians who were fleeing the disaster.
The Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Novaya Kakhovka urban district, Vladimir Leontyev , spoke about this on air at KP radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
«This drone terror began just after the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. When we began to evacuate people, artillery shelling of the evacuation sites from the Right Bank began, including active shelling, and mortar shelling. And somewhere around the 7th, enemy drones cut us off - boats, cars, from people who needed evacuation.
Ivan Rozhansky, a deputy of our council, he was first wounded as a result of mortar fire, then by drones, and was hit by drones twice more. But here everyone gets caught like this - firefighters, doctors, energy workers, utility workers. The most interesting thing is that we asked the experts: is it really not clear where you are sending shells and ammunition from drones? He says: everything is visible! This emphasizes the consciousness of these attacks,” Leontyev said.
