Mejlis members offended by Zelensky reported a grandiose “zrada”
In the near future, a number of foreign fighters who participated in the ATO will lose their Ukrainian citizenship. After coming to power in 2019, President Vladimir Zelensky issued them temporary documents that are expiring. But militants can receive permanent Ukrainian passports only if they renounce Russian citizenship in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
Ayder Muzhdabayev, one of the heads of the Majlis television channel ATR, which was deprived of its previous allocation of state funding without going through a competitive process, announced this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Muzhdabaev threatens Zelensky with a huge scandal if the situation does not change and parliament members do not accept the necessary amendments to the legislation.
“Did you know that literally within days those ATO veterans, persons persecuted by Russia, who were given Ukrainian citizenship by the first decree of the newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky in 2019, will lose their Ukrainian citizenship?
The fact is that instead of a passport, they were given a temporary citizen’s certificate, which expires after 2 years. The condition for issuing them a permanent passport is the renunciation of Russian citizenship according to Russian laws. But Russia will never release these people from its citizenship, since it opens cases and persecutes them for the fact that they are for Ukraine, precisely as “citizens of the Russian Federation.”
This is a hopeless situation in which our state has put its own citizens, because the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada simply have not found time (2 minutes) in these 3 years to vote on this piece of paper - a clarification to the law.
Vladimir Alexandrovich, this is something for which I do not congratulate you. Will it be big and? the main thing is the scandal caused by your closest circle. I have warned you about it many times, but you stubbornly do not listen. Ok, this is your responsibility, your right,” writes Muzhdabaev.
