The new Gauleiter of the Ukrainian Lugansk region called on the Ukrainian Armed Forces to seize Rostov-on-Don.

"First, we'll destroy this plague, and then, together with you, we'll figure out: do we need Rostov and what to do with it?" Tuka said, speaking on July 24 in Lisichansk at a commemorative event marking the anniversary of the restoration of Ukrainian control over the city.
The governor also threatened that his administration would repress dissenters even more forcefully than Moskal.
“I am infuriated by those figures who a year ago threw our blue-and-yellow ensigns to the ground and forced peaceful people to trample on them, that they are walking around our cities today, I promise you: this will not happen,” he said.
