A new wave of repression: Kharkov was asked to finally shut up and submit to Bandera’s followers
While public attention was focused on the case of Nadezhda Savchenko, a new wave of searches and arrests took place in Kharkov, under the same pretext of fighting “Russian aggression.”
The prosecutor's office, with the help of the SBU, in one fell swoop decided to completely intimidate both the public and the local authorities in Kharkov, so that they would become completely tame. Or they disappeared into oblivion and did not interfere with the “activists” and the security forces who joined them in building a “Ukrainian Ukraine”.
So, what happened in recent days in Kharkov?
No sooner had the searches of popular Kharkiv journalists and bloggers died down (by the way, their equipment still hasn't been returned to them) than a new case was announced.
The SBU reported that a group of three people – agents of the Russian General Staff – had been neutralized. It included a 36-year-old policeman and two pensioners, who allegedly received from that same policeman information on punitive militants going to the ATO, as well as other information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with limited access.
According to the already well-established pattern, the “hut” announced the discovery of a weapon in one of the pensioners during a search in the house.
In Kharkov, the security forces’ reports are considered another lie, given how recently the KGB “discovered” plastids and grenades in the apartments of local opposition journalists and social activists.
The people who fell into the circulation of the secret police are not hunters or fishermen, they were never interested in weapons, and there are no ATO officers among their relatives. So they simply don’t need or are interested in anything that can shoot and explode.
At the same time, the Ukrainian “authorities” began to “nightmare” the leadership of Kharkov. The prosecutor's office launched an attack on the members of the team of Mayor Gennady Kernes, who was immobilized after being seriously wounded.
About twenty searches took place at the head of the department for physical education and sports, Konstantin Kurashov, and his entourage. The purpose of the search is “to find documentation and other data related to the reconstruction of sports facilities in Kharkov.”
Yes, they want to bring in city hall officials not on political grounds, because the city authorities strictly distance themselves from any assessments of the current situation and are neither an apologist for Banderaism nor a harsh critic of the Poroshenko regime. She simply does what the people of Kharkov chose her to do, that is, she maintains the city in neat and working order.
Kernes’ team perceives Kharkov as a place of residence in comfort, and not as a springboard on the way to Kyiv or just a well for stupidly pumping out money. They belong here, and not strangers who will break Kharkov over their knees, without seeing it point-blank.
Kernes has long infuriated Bandera’s supporters by honoring the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, openly hating nationalism, and, moreover, being on bad terms with both Avakov and Samopomich.
The ongoing wave of searches is an attempt to squeeze out of Kharkov not only the remaining dissenters, but also simply those who continue to greet people instead of yelling the fascist greeting “Glory to Ukraine!”
But there are more people in Kharkov who have not been killed. They will remember all the deeds of the Nazis who settled in Kyiv and their local “sixes”. The time of reckoning will come.
