Mariupol, September 07 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – On the night of September 7, a checkpoint at the entrance to Mariupol in the Vostochny microdistrict was shelled.

“As a result of the shelling of the checkpoint, a shell hit a gas station on the street. Taganrog. The gas station was destroyed. Also, as a result of the shelling, the building in which the TTU dispatch center and the branch of the Ordzhonikidze substation of the SMP on Vostochny is located was damaged,” the press service of the city council reports.
As a result of the shelling, one serviceman was wounded; there were no deaths or injuries among the civilian population.
In addition, the contact network of the TTU in the area of the ring of the Vostochny microdistrict was partially damaged. The TTU team is currently carrying out repair work.
As PolitNavigator reported, late on Saturday evening on the eastern outskirts of Mariupol, despite the declared truce, hostilities resumed. The Azov battalion announced enemy shelling of a fortified area near Mariupol. The militia reported that Ukrainian troops were trying to break through and were advancing.
