“No one will get away with it”: Zelensky was called upon to investigate the Odessa tragedy and pay compensation to the relatives of the victims
The Kyiv authorities continue to promote a policy of double standards, without hesitation hurling accusations and demands, while, as under the previous regime, hypocritically forgetting about their own responsibility.
The head of the Central Executive Committee of the Social Movement “Donetsk Republic” Alexey Muratov told PolitNavigator about this.
He recalled that recently the former secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, said that not only the leadership of Iran, but also the Russian Federation should answer for the mistakenly shot down of a Ukrainian airliner by Iranian air defenses, because Tehran is a strategic partner of Moscow, which means that the latter could supposedly be responsible for complicit in this.
“Following this logic, Ukraine, which considers itself a strategic partner of the United States, must answer to Iran for the murder of General Soleimani, as well as for all the outrages and crimes that the United States has been committing in the Middle East for many years now.
However, this, naturally, is not even considered within the framework of the logic of double standards that Kyiv follows, following the example of its Western partners.
Thus, President of Ukraine Zelensky, in accordance with the same flawed logic, was not fully satisfied with the admission of the Iranian authorities about a tragic mistake. He demanded a full and open investigation, bringing those responsible to justice, payment of compensation, official apologies and put forward a number of other additional demands,” commented Muratov.
“In this regard, I would like to ask Zelensky, how, for example, is the “full and open” investigation into the murders on the Maidan going? Perhaps some of the criminals who are not even hiding will be brought to justice?
And the victims of the tragedy in the Odessa House of Trade Unions have probably already been paid compensation? Or is he personally ready to make an official apology to the residents of Donbass, who have been killed by the Ukrainian army for the sixth year now?

Let us remind you that when delivering a speech to Ukrainians in connection with the tragedy in Tehran, President Zelensky did not miss the opportunity to promote himself and bravely declared that in Iran “no one will wriggle out” of responsibility.
