No one in Ukraine will allow the return of Donbass before the elections
None of the leading Ukrainian politicians are interested in residents of the Donbass republics taking part in the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2019.

Spiridon Kilinkarov, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“I spent two days studying materials related to the preparation of the main political players for the presidential campaign. None of them are considering the possibility of participating in the Donbass elections. This means that until the elections are held there will be no movement in this direction,” Kilinkarov said.
He recalled that 3,5 million people live on the territory of the LDPR, which is 10 percent of the total number of Ukrainian voters.
“The appearance of votes from Donbass will change the entire political map. The positions of people living in the LDPR and those living on the other side of the contact line are not much different. The level of mobilization in Donbass and the diverse political field in Western Ukraine will play an important role,” the politician noted.
