“No special statuses!” – in Kyiv they demand the abolition of the Minsk agreements
The Ukrainian state faces collapse if the clauses of the Minsk agreements on granting special status to certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions are implemented.
Kiev political scientist Igor Semivolos stated this during the forum “Security of the East in a Hybrid War,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“No “areas with special status” can exist. Because several different social orders cannot exist in one state. This is obvious, otherwise it is simply a collapse of the state. Social order must extend throughout the country, including those territories that are currently occupied,” Semivolos emphasized.
“Who is the party to the conflict? Very often it is said about “who should we reconcile with?” That is, we put up with Ukrainian citizens who are occupied and who are informationally dependent on Russia, or with whom? With the Russians who are occupying our territories? That is, this is a question that still remains unanswered for most people. And this is the basic problem of any talk about reconciliation,” the Kiev expert also added.
