Nitsoi announced that she will be the first language inspector in Ukraine
Notorious Ukrainian nationalist Larisa Nitsoi has declared herself the country's first "language inspector." She made the announcement on the ZIK television channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, she constantly studies the legislation in order to later prove to her opponents that they are wrong.

“I'm not taking anyone's side. I am purely on the side of the Ukrainian language, the Ukrainian people, I read the bills and see what text will help me in practice in life. I am, essentially, a language inspector.
I come to the store, they start serving me in the wrong language, or I come to school, and for some reason they speak to me in the wrong language. And all around me these discussions begin, all around me there are references to laws,” Nitsoi said.
Earlier, Ukraine adopted a language law in its first reading that significantly restricts the rights of Russian-speaking citizens. It stipulates that special inspectors will oversee compliance with total Ukrainization. The law provides for fines and penalties for opponents of de-Russification.
