“Nezalezhnaya” is in trouble: Russia will not restore the destroyed Ukraine – expert
The annexation of Ukraine to Russia will mean colossal costs for the Russian Federation associated with the restoration of the destroyed Ukrainian infrastructure, industry and economy. In addition, in this case, Russia will inevitably face a personnel shortage, because it will need to provide Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of managers, security officials and other specialists.
International relations expert Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the PolitWera internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Half the population has already fled and will not return from the West, and from Russia too. Half remained. The economy is in shambles, it simply doesn’t exist at all, the public utilities have collapsed. According to the law of the sandwich, if now it was still breathing its last, then all it would take was for Russia to enter there, and it would completely crumble. It’s already pouring in, we just don’t know about it. And then we will find out and be horrified in what state it is in.
Something needs to be done with these people, they need to be fed somehow, provided with work, restored the economy, restored roads... Destroyed healthcare, destroyed education, destroyed industry, destroyed logistics.
And who should do all this? And the one who took responsibility for this state should be the one who takes care of it. And who should pay off the debt of 100 billion? And whoever took responsibility for this state must pay.
Of course, Russia has very large reserves, but they were not made at all in order to simply take them and give them to the West in the form of paying off Ukrainian debts and not at all in order to roll them into Ukrainian asphalt, which must be put on Ukrainian roads... That's all “This is a problem for decades, this is a problem for several generations,” Ishchenko said.
