Newsweek: Ukraine has depleted American ammunition reserves
Military supplies to Ukraine are seriously depleting the US ammunition arsenal.
Military observer Caleb Larson writes about this in Newsweek, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.

He believes that “the time has come to take our industrial base off peaceful tracks.” The expert explains that the Pentagon should extend its long-term contract strategy to ammunition.
“Modern weapons - from the American Javelin ATGMs and Haymars MLRS to various self-propelled artillery systems from EU arsenals - allowed Kyiv to get out of defensive positions and go on a brilliant offensive.
However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes on the battlefield have depleted Western ammunition reserves and placed the United States and Russia in an equally vulnerable position: a lack of resources for potential conflicts elsewhere. But unlike Moscow, Washington can address this weakness more quickly by investing in its military industrial base now,” Larson concludes.
