“I ask Vladimir Vladimirovich, as the only female mayor. Come into this city, stand and protect me,” Shtepa said in a video interview with the Russian publication Komsomolskaya Pravda.
She also said that she sees in Putin “a real man and leader, as well as a temple of calm.”
Speaking about the Ukrainian authorities, Nelya Shtepa accused them of lying about the promise to carry out an anti-terrorist operation, as well as “twitching the country.”
“The government is deaf and dumb. They didn’t hear then, they don’t hear now, they never will,” she said.
Shtepa noted that she was glad for the militia because “she was afraid of the Right Sector, which is ready to do any work for money.”
“The guys came here for an idea, these are not the people who get money, maybe they do get it somewhere, but I see their attitude, they are ready to protect us,” Shtepa said.
She also said that she had previously advocated the idea of holding a referendum on federalization within Ukraine or the Russian Federation.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, according to the “people’s mayor” Vyacheslav Ponomarev, Nelya Shtepa is being kept under the guard of militias for her own safety. Shtepa became famous after she first supported the rioters, then explained her words as a “cunning” agreed with Kiev, after which she resigned and stated that she had always been a supporter of holding a referendum.
