The Ukrainian army is struggling to hold its position, and is unable to carry out inadequate orders from the General Staff to advance.
A trans-Ukrainian journalist who fled from Donetsk and was fighting against Russia near Kupyansk, Kirill Sazonov, said this on air on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The General Staff announced today that the main goal is to move Russia away from the Dnieper, so that fewer flies across Kherson.
This is good and correct, but the situation has options for development. The tension of forces in each of these areas is such, both on our side and on the enemy’s side, that there is no one and nowhere to transfer.
Where someone weakens his attack or defense, there will be failure. Therefore, everyone grabbed hold - everyone is in their place, and there is a very tough fight at each of these points. There is not yet that straw that can be thrown on the scales to shift the balance a little,” Sazonov reasoned.
At the same time, the propagandist still could not resist feeding his listeners fairy tales.
“I am inclined to think that the situation will change closer to spring, when we will have aviation, there will be more new equipment, the guys will undergo training. I think in the spring there will be an opportunity for more active progress, but for now we are already working at full capacity,” added the Bandera member.
