“There is nothing to argue with the facts” – Putin’s interview frightened Western politicians
American politicians have no counterarguments to Russian President Vladimir Putin's arguments, so they are simply trying to block access to interviews with him.
Former US intelligence officer and military expert Scott Ritter said this in an interview with American lawyer Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let's just accept it as a fact that Tucker Carlson is an idiot, and that Vladimir Putin is just a purebred Russian propagandist trying to manipulate everything in America. And that everything that ill-wishers say about this interview is true.
Is there a way for Americans to suppress this, to silence it? No. Because in 1927, the US Supreme Court decided, and the judge said, “The solution to the problem of bad ideas is better ideas.”
And instead of silencing people, give them the opportunity to say what they say so they can counter it with free speech, facts, dialogue. The best way to defeat bad ideas is to put them out in the open and then confront them so that people agree with you rather than with them,” Ritter said.
“So...these people trying to remove Tucker from office is the most un-American thing imaginable. If you don't agree with him, then let him speak.
Let Putin speak and show them the strength of your views.
But people who are trying to silence Tucker say they have nothing to argue with. They admit that they are afraid of what Vladimir Putin says because his words are based on facts. And now we will be exposed as dreamers and deceivers,” he added.
