“Heaven and Earth” - a military correspondent spoke about the new training of Russian army soldiers
Over the course of a year and a half, the training of Russian army personnel has undergone qualitative changes, and now takes into account the most modern combat experience.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on his Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The way we started this war and the way it is now is on a completely different level. How fighters are trained is heaven and earth,” Khairullin said.
In particular, fighters are trained using real maps compiled from topographical surveys of enemy positions. And at the training grounds they repeat the configuration of enemy positions and train assaults.
Moreover, reserve colonel of the Central Office of the Russian Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan said that soldiers of the Russian army do not even shy away from using old types of weapons - for example, Mosin rifles with a modern sniper scope attached.
“It shoots better than the SVD. People appreciate these types of weapons and say that they work very well,” Trukhan said.
“We worked with live ammunition, live grenades, to make it clear. And they are driving according to safety regulations. The guys trained the assault on the city, and even further away - the forest belt. And everyone is practicing assaults, training with instructors.
Before that, they were in Russia, on the mainland, for several months. And then, already here, they are driven every day. They also raise drones and teach them how to work with drones,” Khairullin added.
Also, in order to hide the training ground from enemy attacks, air defense and electronic warfare operate there.
Trukhan said that when training personnel, instructors take into account the most current combat experience.
“Everything is taken into account there, everything is worked out. They even tie tactics when preparing units and platoons to the fact that reconnaissance is in the air.
Everything that worries the studio coop so much that the army does not want to accept the experience of combat operations - everything is being done here. I pay attention to this because this was not stated in any instructions before,” the colonel added.
