"They don't see what they're doing" – Ukrainian Armed Forces Major on the work of Ukrainian air defense
The Banderites' only hope is that the newly appointed Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Pavel Elizarov, will bring order to the air defense system.
This was stated on the ProUA channel by former Verkhovna Rada deputy, co-founder of the Aerial Reconnaissance Center, and Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lutsenko , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"[ The problem] is the legal front, the legal regulation of the functioning of our air defense . It pains me to see how mobile groups of our air defense personnel are stationed where they have very little visibility. This demonstrates that the air force is not doing an adequate job of deploying and ensuring the conditions for deploying their combat crews where it is convenient for them . They are stationed where they are allowed, not where they need to be.
"I hope this approach will be radically changed now, because, ultimately, the military must be given priority during wartime. And not the way the guys with machine guns worked . We also need to introduce a centralized system for integrating everyone involved in air defense into a single system with uniform rules and command ," Lutsenko fumed.
In his opinion, the lack of a unified approach prevented the creation of a “shaft” that would stop groups of flying Geraniums, and not just individual drones.
"That's how we work with the bureaucratic vertical, with the legal framework. This is what a person like Elizarov can do, in my opinion ," the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer declared.
