There is no point in recognizing the results of the presidential elections in Ukraine, as a result of which a person came to power in Kyiv who is virtually no different from his predecessor Petro Poroshenko.
The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated this during a briefing in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why we propose not to recognize: on the very first day of taking office, the new president of Ukraine turns to the United States to strengthen sanctions against us. Are we going to recognize the president who asks America to hit Russia even harder?
Secondly, we are against any amnesties, autonomies and everything else, that is, no relaxations, only a tough position, as was the case under Poroshenko.
Zelensky dissolved the Rada, and then what? Not a single minister has been arrested, there are monstrous tortures all around, in all the places where Russians captured in Ukraine during armed conflicts are located.
Therefore, this is the same president as Poroshenko, he will also worsen the situation in relations with Russia,” Zhirinovsky said.
