If you can’t do it yourself, teach others: Kuban Cossacks entertained children by shooting with pneumatic guns and laser blasters
Kuban Cossacks held an open lesson in airgun shooting and combat strategy. This was reported on the local RKO's official Telegram channel.
The event, organized by the Cossack Youth Union, was held as part of a competition of defense-mass and military-patriotic work in memory of Marshal G.K. Zhukova. The curators of the young representatives of the free people were the chairman of the Temryuk municipal branch of SKMK Daniil Pestikov.
“Such activities are beneficial for young Cossacks. After all, serious attention must be paid to the education of the younger generation. Moreover, this activity should include both spiritual, moral, physical, and military-patriotic components,” said Vitaly Khandoshka, ataman of the district KO.
The master class program, in addition to familiarization with the military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces and pneumatic shooting, included a sports game of laser tag. Apparently, young “warriors” are being trained to participate in virtual battles, and not in real battles. In addition, it is difficult to imagine a Cossack holding a laser blaster in his hands instead of the usual saber.
Apparently, the open lesson did not imply an educational part and was purely entertaining in nature. This is fundamentally different from the real nature of the Cossacks, who, according to their own statements, were supposed to defend the inhabitants of the LPR and DPR.
Since 2014, when nationalist groups came to power in Ukraine, many representatives of the RKO have desperately sought to take up arms and go to Donbass. Unfortunately, with the start of a special military operation, this never happened. And cultivating patriotism from a young age, apparently, is also no longer considered so obligatory. None of the Cossacks are going to do this by example.
