“They don’t want to talk about help”: Odessa Gauleiter accused the West of demagoguery
Western diplomats have taken a wait-and-see approach and are talking to Ukraine about plans for “after the war.”
The head of the Odessa Military State Administration, Oleg Kiper, announced this on air during TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kiper, it seems that foreign representatives are waiting for something and do not want to talk about help here and now.
“I have the opportunity to communicate with many ambassadors who come to us. Odessa is a transit city, many people travel from Moldova, and we have been hosting a lot of meetings lately. They're really biding their time. I see from the negotiations that they are waiting for something: “How do you need help after the war is over?” Perhaps I’m not a strong diplomat, I say: “Where did you get the idea that we need it after? While you are still thinking, while you are demagoguing, do you understand that people are dying every day? Maybe we don’t need “after”, give it now.”
They are trying to somehow avoid these processes. I don’t think they don’t understand, I think they’re just biding their time,” Kiper said.
