“I have no right to talk about this”: Gordon intrigues about Saakashvili’s return
Well-known Kiev propagandist Dmitry Gordon is intriguing about the possible return of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to Ukraine.
"I'm not allowed to talk about this. I won't say anything. I know one thing: it will be interesting. It will be so interesting that it will be incredibly interesting. No one knows about it yet. Let's recall this conversation," Gordon said on the 112 TV channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Mikheil Saakashvili headed the Odessa State Administration in 2015–2016. He resigned, explaining this by disagreement with the actions of the Kyiv authorities, after which he created his own party, the Movement of New Forces.
In July 2017, Poroshenko deprived Saakashvili of Ukrainian citizenship due to the fact that he indicated false information in the application form. Saakashvili was able to return by forcefully breaking through the Polish-Ukrainian border. After this, he held a series of protests. In February 2018, he was detained in Kyiv and expelled from the country.
In the presidential elections, Saakashvili supports Yulia Tymoshenko.
