This is the conclusion reached by Vasyl Filipchuk, former director of the EU department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted by the online newspaper "Strana".
“This is a complete fiasco of the current Ukrainian foreign policy. This is a failure of meaningless rhetoric, broken promises, lies and deceit. I can repeat twenty more times that all these are just technical details, all this is because of the bad right-wing radicals in France and left-wing radicals in the Netherlands, and that the main thing is not the visa-free regime, but the reforms to which this visa-free regime pushes us... Perhaps that all this is so, and all this is true. But from today these mantras will no longer cause anything but disgust among our citizens,” admitted the Ukrainian diplomat.
