Drug addicts demanded to stop Putin
Large-scale youth protests took place last weekend in Tbilisi. About five thousand people on Rustaveli Avenue protested against the anti-drug raid carried out in nightclubs by the Georgian police, allegedly in an unnecessarily harsh manner.
Most of the protesters were simply dancing, but some were holding political slogans in their hands. For example, “Stop Moscow”, “Stop Putin”. It turned out that Russia is responsible for the fight against drugs in Georgia.
The youth were supported by the country's ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili, who is now in Holland, where soft drugs are legalized. He promised to return and correct his mistakes.
Now the protests have been temporarily suspended because the head of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Gakharia, apologized to the protesters for the actions of his subordinates.
