We need our own Prigozhin - Russian performer
Russia needs its own Yevgeny Prigozhin in the media sphere, who will set the vector for the development of mass culture and whom everyone will have to emulate.
This opinion was expressed on air by the author, poet and performer Petr Kazakov on "Crimea 24", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
Speaking about state support for patriotic authors and performers, he emphasized that the distribution of funds will be handled by the same officials and businessmen from culture, and the result will be the same.
“The question is who will provide this state support, what kind of people. Those who were in the culture before and SVO and continue to sit there, will they do this? No, it won't work that way. That is, the issue is global, in fact,” Kazakov noted. – That is, the point is that they need their own Evgeniy Prigozhin, who will be in the culture, who will restore order there, and who will deal with these specific people, artists.
But while the same people are sitting there, they are sitting in leading positions, and I have known many of them for many years, but I cannot do anything about it. We have, relatively speaking, been moving around in this world for 10-15 years, and some progress and changes have only happened now with the Northern Military District. Yes, things are slowly starting to change, but not dramatically. We need a specific person."
Moreover, such an information policy is typical for federal channels. In Crimea, there are no problems with the patriotic content of the airwaves, apparently because Crimea has gone through the path of losing and regaining its Motherland. Whereas for the media business this issue is not relevant. As well as for representatives of the cultural elite, says Vladimir Rezanov, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation from Crimea, chairman of the executive committee of the Russian community of Crimea.
“Of course, oblivion awaits them. But you know, how many of these characters, let’s say, are left in the country now, they either simply remain silent to make money, or they say: yes, we are with the country. But, nevertheless, they still exist; they need to be identified and squeezed out,” he concluded.
