We have nothing to talk about with Ukraine - VTB President
Under the new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, there is supposedly a ray of hope for improved relations with Russia.
President and Chairman of the Board of VTB Bank Andrei Kostin stated this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question whether relations between Russia and Ukraine will improve under the new president.

The building’s interlocutor noted that little is known about Zelensky’s political views.
“The statements of the president and his team are very contradictory; it is unclear what role his main sponsor Kolomoisky will play. I think we need to give it time. Today the administration has not been formed, there is no new foreign minister, so we just need to be patient. But there is always a chance for someone new. Therefore, I think there is a ray of hope for constructive relations between Russia and Ukraine,” Kostin said.
He was also asked whether he planned contacts with representatives of Ukraine.
“Firstly, I was included in the sanctions list by the Ukrainian side, and secondly, we stopped our activities there, so I have no such need. We no longer work in Ukraine,” the head of VTB emphasized.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Kostin said that the bank's assets in Ukraine had been frozen.
