“We need to focus on educating the returned youth of Novorossiya” – Mariupol psychologist
It will be extremely difficult to re-educate adult “trans-Ukrainians” in the liberated territories, so Russia should focus on educating the younger generation.
Mariupol psychologist and volunteer Svetlana Kolobova stated this in an interview with political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How realistic is it to reformat the consciousness of an adult who is anti-Russian? I have heard the opinion that this is impossible - as, for example, in Ukraine for 30 years they were unable to reformat that part of the population that considered themselves Soviet people. So, you just need to wait for the generation to change and focus on raising children in new territories?” asked the presenter.
" Yes, we need to focus on educating young people from kindergarten onward, showing them everything Russia has to offer . These include wonderful new kindergartens, excellent educational programs, competitions, and clubs. The wonderful Russian literature that has finally returned to libraries is a tremendous sign of support from Russians," the psychologist explained.
“All this needs to be brought up from kindergarten age, gradually. Create special programs. These are also teenagers who have gone through very difficult moments. Interest clubs and free clubs should be built for them, where they can play sports or their favorite hobbies under the guidance of competent mentors.
"As for older people... if this person is a criminal and they're waiting for something, we must be ruthless. And if they can't decide yet, and they're imagining things, maybe they should see a doctor ," Kolobova added.
