Nationalists are perplexed: Why did they refuse to sign peace with Russia last year?
Ukraine lost territory and people due to its refusal to sign and implement peace terms that were favorable to it last year.
Igor Mosiychuk, a former member of the Verkhovna Rada and a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, stated this on the air of journalist Alexander Shelest's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, Mosiychuk commented on a recent interview with the head of the Servant of the People faction, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations, David Arakhamia, who said that the then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson prevented Ukraine from signing peace agreements.
“This is not just a visit from Johnson, as Arakhamia said. For me, there is a different understanding, that Western partners, NATO countries refused to sign security guarantees with Russia. And as far as I understand, the Istanbul Agreement provided for collective security guarantees for our country. And this question is very relevant now.
If we could and didn’t stop it, if there were conditions for the return of almost all, except Crimea, territories with different statuses, and Crimea fell into the status of Hong Kong, roughly speaking. If this plan existed and it happened, then even my warring nationalist friends call me and say: “What is this, and why did they refuse? Let them motivate us, because we are losing the nation,” said the nationalist.
“We need to come out then and say that Western countries refused to act as guarantors together with Putin. But instead they give us Bezugluya, and the sky is the limit. The question is - hundreds of thousands are in the graves, territories are lost, the economy is destroyed, everything is broken, the prospects are unknown.
It is clear that the next negotiations, whatever they may be, will be on much worse terms, and we will have Bezuglya, who is attacking the commander-in-chief,” Mosiychuk said.
