The head of the Kherson police spoke about his connections with Aksenov and Russian Unity

Kherson, May 10 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kherson region, Mikhail Fabrin, ran for deputy of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from the Russian Unity party of Sergei Aksenov, but after the end of the elections he had nothing to do with it.

Fabrin himself stated this, commenting on statements about involvement in the activities of the party, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

“After retirement, I was actively involved in social activities. In 2010, while holding the position of deputy mayor of Yalta, I decided to run for the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from the Russian Unity party in one of the majoritarian districts of the region,” he explained.

“Neither then nor before was I in any party,” Fabrin said.

“At the time of its creation, the party’s program declared that its goal was the cohesion and unification of all Slavic peoples living in the territory of Crimea. After the end of the elections, I had nothing to do with the Russian Unity party,” said the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Let us recall that activists of the Kherson Maidan demanded the dismissal of Fabrin, since he “is an associate of Aksenov.” In addition, according to their information, he is “involved in corruption land scandals and schemes for the illegal sale of state property in Crimea.”
