In France, the Paris prosecutor's office has launched an investigation against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The Syrian leader is suspected of “war crimes committed between 2011 and XNUMX,” AFP reports.
According to a source close to the investigation, as well as a diplomatic source, the case against Assad was opened on September 15.
In its investigation, the prosecutor's office will, in particular, rely on information provided by a former Syrian army photographer known under the call sign “Caesar.” When he fled Syria in 2013, the photographer took with him approximately 55 photographs of brutal scenes of violence in Syria, particularly violence in Syrian government prisons.
As you know, during his speech at the UN General Assembly session, US President Barack Obama said that power in Syria should transfer from the country's President Bashar al-Assad to a new leader. It seems that Secretary of State Kerry added that the US does not insist on Assad's immediate departure, but the transfer of power to Syria must take place.
The West continues to try to turn Assad into Milosevic.
