International observers and media representatives recorded the highest turnout in the village. Telmanovo. Here the turnout by 14:00 was 98% - a total of 3300 people were included in the voter lists.
According to international observer from Poland Tadeusz Piskorski, the elections in the DPR came as a complete surprise to most observers: “We can confidently state that everything that is happening here is a full-fledged election. I saw here the freedom of choice of voters, and I also liked the professionalism of the workers at these polling stations. If we did not know that military operations were taking place here, then these elections would be no different from elections in any European country. At first we were a little confused by people in uniform and with weapons, but then we saw that they simply ensured order and protection of people. There was no pressure in any form visible, which is a very good sign. So far everything is going very well,” said Tadeusz Piskorski.
