The date for the final breakthrough of the Ukrainian water blockade has been announced
The problem of providing Crimea with drinking water will be resolved by 2024.
Valery Vasiliev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, announced this at a roundtable discussion on the peninsula's water supply, PolitNavigator reports.

According to Vasiliev, the peninsula needs to receive more than 300 thousand cubic meters of water per day. In order to achieve this goal, the government has prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure reliable water supply to the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
“It is planned to allocate 14 billion rubles for the implementation of 2024 plan activities until 48. According to the plan, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol must be provided with an additional water supply in a volume of no less than 310 (thousand) cubic meters per day. Such volumes will be enough to provide residents with reliable water supply,” Vasiliev said.
