Lists of alimony defaulters will be made publicly available in Ukraine

The Ministry of Justice intends to publish a register of alimony defaulters starting in the new year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko announced this on Twitter.

“Starting the new year, we are publishing a register of non-payers of alimony - this will be additional help for women who have decided to build new relationships: is their new chosen one in this register? Will he repeat previous mistakes in the future?” the minister explained.

As you know, the Ministry of Justice has developed a draft law “On strengthening the protection of the child’s right to adequate maintenance by improving the procedure for the forced collection of arrears in the payment of alimony.”
