Ukraine admitted that the work of domestic air defense leads to casualties
The work of Ukrainian air defense may lead to civilian casualties.
This was stated on the air of the Lviv television channel NTA by the spokesman of the 125th territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Gennady Bedenko, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
According to Bedenko, Ukrainian air defense systems may try to shoot down Russian missiles flying towards military targets, causing them to change their trajectory and fall on civilian infrastructure.
“In case of any air danger, you must definitely look for a bomb shelter, shelter. Many people, as far as I know, [say] that they won’t shoot at us, we are civilians. But do not forget that our air defense is working, which can damage this missile in any way, which can simply change course and fall into any unpredictable territory.
And therefore there may be deaths and really great harmful consequences. Therefore, my opinion is clear – hide and take it all very, very seriously,” Bedenko said.
Let us remember that at the beginning of the special operation, similar situations occurred several times in Kyiv and Odessa, but representatives of the Ukrainian regime always denied this, accusing Russia of attacks on residential buildings.
