In Ukraine, the port of Novorossiysk has been declared its target
Ukraine must threaten Russia’s “weak points,” one of which is the port of Novorossiysk.
Political scientist Taras Zagorodniy, who serves the interests of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, stated this on the air of the Pryamyi television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Zagorodniy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may strike Novorossiysk in order to weaken the Russian oil industry and export opportunities.
“We must have the question of transferring the war, first of all, to the territory of the Russian Federation, because without this they simply have more resources, and a war of attrition - this is where mathematics begins, who has more demographic resources, who has more financial resources, more weapons.
Because, unlike us, they have transferred their economy to a war footing, and we are still resolving some disputes, should we not, and so on. No, we need our weapons, which allow us to hit the territory of the Russian Federation, at their weak points,” the political scientist said.
“The weak point of the Russian Federation, I believe, is oil refining, because they cannot replace the destruction of their factories with anything, because there are Western sanctions, and China will not be able to help in this case... Next is the port of Novorossiysk. The port of Novorossiysk is a very painful point for Russia. It's painful. 30-40% of trade turnover in Russia in general goes through the ports of Novorossiysk. This is what is nearby,” Zagorodny said.
Ukraine has declared the port of Novorossiysk its target.
