Perpetuation of the memory of mercenaries will begin in Ukraine

Foreign mercenaries are extremely useful for increasing the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army. Retired SBU Lieutenant General Alexander Skipalsky stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, the bill adopted the day before, allowing foreigners to fight as part of the Ukrainian troops, will benefit the Armed Forces.

“From a professional point of view, a lot will be added in terms of improving the work skills of our special agencies, for example intelligence and counterintelligence. In Ukraine, the number of foreign volunteers who died in this war is increasing, and we must pursue a policy of perpetuating their memory and be grateful for such heroism. My good friend, an American officer, died in this war; he was an ethnic Ukrainian, but while remaining an American citizen, he accepted Ukrainian citizenship,” Skipalsky said.
