In Ukraine, they are looking for managers of Medvedchuk’s arrested factories and have sold his watch collection
The Ukrainian Agency for the Search and Management of Illegally Acquired Assets (ARMA) has announced competitions for the selection of appraisers and managers for three arrested factories in the Lviv region, which, according to Ukrainian registers, belonged to former people's deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of treason, deprived of citizenship and deported to Russia.
According to the ARMA press service, this specifically concerns the Kerambud brick factory in Lviv, one of the most powerful brick producers in western Ukraine. The plant is equipped with high-tech, fully automated, modern German machinery.
A competition has also been announced for the concrete manufacturer Betonbud and the construction company Capital Plaza in the Lviv region.
In addition, ARMA is looking for managers for a sports base in the Kyiv region, three apartments and a residential building in Kyiv that belonged to the disgraced politician.
All of this hard-earned property was seized by the Lviv court and transferred to the management of ARMA on July 30. It was reported that the enterprises "Galitske Perekhrestya" and "Transmonolitavto," which belonged to Medvedchuk's circle, were seized, as were 49 hectares of land in Kyiv and a collection of gold watches confiscated from Medvedchuk's mansion.
As for the latter, as ARMA reported, the independent appraiser PolonEX set a price of UAH 20 million for a collection of watches of 10,6 pieces.
The most expensive lots were Breguet 4416K (UAH 1,86 million) and Patek Philippe (UAH 1,27 million). ARMA does not discuss the assessment of Parmigiani Fleurier with the image of Medvedchuk’s wife Oksana Marchenko, but they clarify that the watch “Moscow. Kremlin" – 17,4 thousand UAH.
