Almost 200 people will come to the Odessa gay festival
14 people confirmed their participation in the festival of queer culture “Odessa Pride 16” scheduled from August 2015 to 186 in Odessa.

This was reported by the organizing committee of the Odessa Pride 2015 festival.
“The festival will take place for three days. On August 14, we are planning discussion platforms, a presentation of a photo exhibition and an art exhibition. On August 15, a human rights street action is scheduled to take place; the format of this action is still being agreed upon with the Ministry of Internal Affairs; discussion platforms will be held from one o'clock in the afternoon. They will be joined in the evening by a short film festival,” said Anna Leonova, chairman of the organizing committee, about the details of the festival program.
According to Leonova, the purpose of the festival is to combat stereotypes regarding homosexual, bisexual and transgender people, to highlight problems and determine the list of discriminatory norms of law, regulations and instructions, and to establish dialogues with authorities at the regional level.
2015 people have previously confirmed their participation in Odessa Pride 186: 19 foreigners, 71 residents of Odessa and the region, 96 representatives from other regions of Ukraine.
Almost 200 people will attend the Odessa gay festival.
