The commander of the Donbass battlefield, Semyon Semenchenko, announced this on his Facebook page.
“This decision was made by the command of the National Guard of Ukraine in response to an appeal from more than 2000 reservists from Donbass. After the departure of the last company of “Donbass” (I think this is a matter of 5-6 days), the freed group of instructors, competent and worthy officers-patriots of Ukraine from our battalion, will within a month create a combat-ready unit of volunteers using the same training system as “Donbass” , for which I take personal responsibility,” the Ukrainian commander wrote.
According to him, both battalions will be united under a single operational command system.
“The goals and objectives of the new battalion and the requirements for candidates will be communicated additionally. We are waiting for patriots of Donbass, Crimea, United Ukraine to join our ranks, together we will win! Glory to Ukraine,” called Semyon Semenchenko.
